Sliced Chat (https://slicedchat.com) is a product built and operated by Pawprintf Ltd ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using Sliced Chat, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.
Sliced Chat is a real-time topic-based chat service. You can use public chat without creating an account, or you can create an optional account to reserve a username, send friend requests, use friend-gated direct messages, receive account notifications, and enable browser push alerts.
Public chat history is limited and may be pruned over time. Account records, direct messages, notifications, reports, moderation records, bans, and feedback may be stored so the service can operate, keep user conversations available, and respond to abuse.
You must be at least 18 years of age to access and use Sliced Chat. Because the platform includes live public chat and user-generated content, it is not designed for or directed at children. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.
Accounts are optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your email address and password accurate and secure. You may not claim usernames or account identities that impersonate another person, mislead other users, infringe someone else's rights, or are used to harass or abuse others.
We may rename, suspend, restrict, or remove accounts, usernames, badges, messages, or access when needed to protect the service, enforce these terms, comply with law, or respond to abuse.
Sliced Chat includes live user-generated content. By using the service, you acknowledge that you may encounter content from other users that you find offensive, indecent, inaccurate, or objectionable.
You agree that you will not use Sliced Chat to:
We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to review reports, remove or restrict content, block IP addresses, suspend accounts, ban browsers or accounts, revoke active bans, and preserve moderation records when users violate these rules or create risk for the service.
Public slice messages are visible to other users in the relevant public chat context. Direct messages are intended for the participants in that conversation, but they may be stored, delivered through notifications, and included in reports or moderation records if a participant reports them or if review is needed to protect the service.
Reports may store a snapshot of the reported message, reporter information available to us, category, status, and moderation action so the review trail is not lost if chat history changes later.
Account notifications may be shown in the app for friend requests, accepted requests, direct messages, mentions, reactions, and similar activity. Browser push alerts are optional and require browser permission. You can disable browser push alerts through your browser settings or the app controls where available.
We make no guarantees regarding the persistence, delivery, ordering, or reliability of any message, notification, direct message, account badge, or user-generated content. Public chat history is limited and may be deleted, pruned, or unavailable after server changes, capacity limits, moderation, or maintenance. Do not use Sliced Chat to transmit important or time-sensitive information.
You retain your rights to content you submit. However, by sending content through Sliced Chat, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, display, transmit, reproduce, moderate, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and enforce the service.
Sliced Chat is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Pawprintf Ltd expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or continuous uninterrupted operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Pawprintf Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service, or resulting from any user-generated content displayed on the service. You use Sliced Chat entirely at your own risk.
We may update these terms as Sliced Chat changes. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
If you have questions, suggestions, or need to report a violation of these terms, contact us at: support@slicedchat.com.
